This year’s knit-a-long is an infinity cowl/scarf designed by our very own President, Nancy Victorino. She designed the cowl/scarf especially for the Bay Area Knitting Guild in the Tampa Bay Area as the 2024 KAL aimed at teaching and exposing knitters to new stitch techniques throughout the year. We encourage knitters of all levels to join us for this experience! You do not have to be a BAKG member to knit this cowl up – it’s free to everyone!

It can be worked up as a long or short, narrow or wide, cowl or scarf based on your preferences. It is written for light-fingering to fingering weight yarn and is light, drapey and cozy when worn. You will be adding onto your cowl or scarf with each release.

Ten (10) featured stitch patterns will be released along with a ‘divider’ stitch pattern to include between each month. One stitch pattern will be released on each of the dates below and our goal is to complete the KAL by Thanksgiving 2024.

Ravelry is the preferred method of distribution for the monthly pattern release.
