Remember, the people who finish all 10 dishcloths will be entered into a separate raffle that will be drawn at the Holiday Party in Dec. You do not have to be present to win.

Our Program this month will be quick holiday knit ideas. We will also present the slate for the board, which will be voted on at the Dec Holiday Party.

Next Knit in the Park is on Nov 5 and Dec 3 at 10am at John Chestnut Sr. Park in Palm Harbor, Shelter 10.

Next Yarn Swap is Dec 29th at Queen’s Pizza on Belcher.

If you’re making the crocheted Granny Square Dishcloth with us, but can’t make it to meeting, make sure to email a picture to BayAreaKG@gmail.com to be included in the monthly drawing!

Our Program this month will be a toe-up seamless sock construction. If you want to start a pair of socks, bring dpns in size 1 or 2 and fingering weight yarn. If you just want to learn the technique, bring dpns in a larger size (7 or 8) and worsted weight yarn. Cassie will have some dpn sets for you to borrow for the class. Please bring yarn.

If you’re making the Lace Leaf Dishcloth with us, but can’t make it to meeting, make sure to email a picture to BayAreaKG@gmail.com to be included in the monthly drawing!

Our activity this month will be pub-style TRIVIA. Bring your handknit thinking caps and think up team names. You will be in groups of 4-5 (depending on attendance) and each team will need a name.

I did announce a spoiler that the September dishcloth will be CROCHET. I know that scares some people but with tutorials on the web and fibers friends across Tampa Bay, I’m sure it will be a success. Learn how to chain and do a double crochet. Only hints I’m giving out right now.

Our program next month (Sep) will be a toe-up sock cast-on with Cassie Tempone. I will send out an email to the guild members on what you need to bring to knit-along.
