Our program this month is Short Rows. We will have tutorials for the classic wrap & turn, German short rows, and Japanese short rows. This will be done as a round robin. To prepare, please knit 3 swatches on smooth dk or sport weight yarn (CO 25 st, knit 4 rows for each swatch)
Don’t forget to bring your FO projects, we’d love to see what you’ve made!
Knitting in the Park will be Saturday, Apr 23 from 10am-2pm. Bring a chair, a packed lunch, your knitting and your show and tell! Have fun meeting and knitting with fellow knitters and crocheters. Open to anyone! The weather should be beautiful!
Guild Meeting

I am hearing the Aster Flower is a bit hard to understand, even with the youtube video. If you can finish it by the meeting (there will be no judging on size or technique), you will be entered into the monthly drawing. I will help anyone who needs it at the end of the meeting. If you need more time due to the level of difficulty, I will allow you to get help from me or another member and have it ready for May. You will still be eligible for the end of year drawing, but no longer the monthly drawing.
We will be sharing our Felted Bowls or Felted Coasters. Be sure to bring your FOs to the meeting. Also, if you have felted anything in the past, bring those for show and tell, as well.
Don’t forget to bring your other FO projects, as well, so we may delight in your accomplishments!

There will be a small gathering at Tampa Style Cubans on East Bay at 4:45pm to grab dinner before the meeting. There will be a FB message requesting an RSVP. Don’t forget, meeting starts at 6pm!

Yarn Swap
The yarn swap will be Thursday Mar 31 at 6pm. Location is Queen’s Pizza on N. Belcher Rd in Clearwater. Bring 1 skein of yarn of at least 75% natural fiber, valued at least $20, and a non-yarn item(s) totaling $10 (like notions, chocolate, other goodies). Place in a clear plastic zip bag. Come and have a great time choosing and stealing!
