When: January 23, 2020 at 6pm
Where: IHOP
30200 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33761

Come join us for our first Guild meeting of the year. This meeting we will discuss knitting ergonomics!

We will also get the first pattern for our afgan/throw KAL. To get started on the first boarder, please see below.

Make an Afghan or Throw Blanket:
Every month you will get a new stitch at the meeting to add to your blanket.
Needles: You will need size 8 or 9 sized needles.
Yarn: Any worsted weight yarn, around 2000 yards, depending how big you want to make it.
Depending on the size you want, cast on 174 stitches for a throw or any multiple of 6 (ex 174 + 6 = 180). (I have a lot of yarn and I want it big so I cast on 198 stitches on size 9 needles.) You will receive the stitch of the month pattern in a picture plus written and charted directions, for those who want to learn how to read charts.

What to bring to the January meeting:
Choose your yarn. You can also make each section a different color or just solid if you want.
Cast on your stitches and knit 6 rows.
